The Reds have secured five successive victories in the Premier League to sit level on points with leaders Chelsea FC at the top of the Premier League table.
Liverpool FC were 2-1 winners against title rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley upon the return of the Premier League on Saturday afternoon following the international break.
The Merseyside outfit have also beaten West Ham United, Brighton and Hove Albion, Crystal Palace and Leicester City.
Reigning French champions PSG have also won their opening five Ligue 1 fixtures after a return of 17 goals under new manager Thomas Tuchel.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen is confident that Jurgen Klopp’s men will make a winning start to their Champions League group stage campaign.
“PSG are without a win in their last four Champions League games against English sides and have only kept one clean sheet in their previous 12 ties against PL opposition,” Owen told BetVictor.
“I expect Liverpool to maintain their 100% start to the season in what promises to be another electric European night.
“We know the French champions have quality in abundance and it will be great to see Neymar on Merseyside, but I feel they will return to Paris having felt the full force of Jurgen Klopp’s Reds and the formidable Anfield crowd.”
Liverpool FC lost 3-1 to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev back in May to miss out on a first trophy under Klopp.
The Reds were 2-0 winners against PSG in the Cup Winners’ Cup at Anfield in 1997, although the Merseyside outfit lost 3-0 in Paris.
Liverpool FC signed four players in the summer transfer window to add more depth to Klopp’s squad.
