Jurgen Klopp praised for Liverpool FC summer signings
Sky Sports pundit Danny Higginbotham praises Liverpool FC'S effective summer transfer business

Danny Higginbotham has praised Liverpool FC’s summer transfer business to bolster Jurgen Klopp’s squad.
The Reds finished in fourth place in the Premier League table last term to secure their continued participation in the Champions League.
Liverpool FC paid the price for a lack of options from the bench in a 3-1 loss to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Kiev showpiece.
The Merseyside outfit signed AS Monaco midfielder Fabhino, RB Leipzig midfielder Naby Keita, AS Roma goalkeeper Alisson and Stoke City playmaker Xherdan Shaqiri in the summer transfer window.
Joe Gomez has also emerged as Virgil van Dijk’s centre-half partner in the absence of Dejan Lovren to further improve the Liverpool FC back four.
Former Manchester United defender Higginbotham believes Liverpool FC completed some excellent business in the summer transfer window.
“They did great business in the summer,” Higginbotham told Sky Sports. “Not just the squad. They improved their starting XI.
“Players who started last season are now on the bench. They have a stronger bench now.”
Liverpool FC started the season with a 4-0 win over West Ham United before victories over Brighton and Crystal Palace.
The Reds laid down a marker in a 2-1 win against title rivals Tottenham Hotspur at Wembley last weekend to keep pace with Chelsea FC before a 3-0 victory over Southampton on Saturday.
