Ian Wright believes there is more to come from Liverpool FC despite their brilliant start to the season.

The Reds have won their opening six Premier League games to lay down an early marker in the title race.

Liverpool FC started the new season with a 4-0 win over West Ham United before a 2-0 win at Crystal Palace.

The Merseyside outfit conceded their first goal in a 2-1 win at Leicester City after a 1-0 home victory over Brighton.

Jurgen Klopp’s side faced their sternest test with a trip to Tottenham Hotspur last weekend but eased to a 2-1 win at Wembley before a 3-0 win over Southampton on Saturday.

While Liverpool FC have made a 100 per cent start to the season, the Reds are still to hit top gear in the current campaign.

Former Arsenal striker Wright believes there is much more to come from Liverpool FC after a promising start.

“You have Wijnaldum and Milner having a great start to the season,” Wright told Sky Sports. “Keita is easing himself in.

“They haven’t even started Fabinho yet. You feel there is much more to come from Liverpool.”

Liverpool FC lost 3-1 to La Liga giants Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev back in May.

The Reds haven’t won the Premier League title but finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
