Torreira came on as a second-half substitute against the Magpies and helped to inspire Unai Emery’s men to their third straight win under the Spanish manager in the top flight.
The Uruguay international has been settling into life at Arsenal after having completed his move to The Emirates from Sampdoria in the summer transfer window.
Despite his solid performances, Torreira is still waiting to make his full debut in the Premier League this season, with the midfielder having been limited to substitute spots so far.
However, the 22-year-old certainly looks like he is enjoying getting used to life in the English capital, as he enjoyed dinner at the Oblix restaurant in the Shard on Sunday evening.
Torreira posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Happy to be by your side. I love you 😍 little 🐼🐼.”
The midfielder will be hoping to start for Arsenal when the Gunners kick off their Europa League group stage campaign with a home clash against Vorskla on Thursday night.
Arsenal have not won the Premier League since their famous unbeaten triumph in the 2003-04 campaign.
