Craig Bellamy has admitted that he finds Manchester United striker Anthony Martial frustrating to watch.

The France international was linked with a potential exit in the 2018 summer transfer window.

The 22-year-old has struggled to hold down a regular starting spot since Jose Mourinho took over the reins in May 2016.

Martial has attracted reported interest from Inter Milan and Juventus in the summer but the France star remained at OId Trafford.

The former Lyon striker scored in Manchester United’s 3-0 win against Young Boys in their Champions League opener.

Ex-Liverpool FC star Bellamy delivered his verdict on Martial amid continued speculation surrounding his future at Old Trafford.

“Martial frustrates you,” Bellamy told Sky Sports. “You want to see more of him. He doesn’t get as much time as you’d like. He has a lot of talent there.”

Martial has netted 37 goals in 140 games during three and a half seasons at the 20-time English champions.

The France star moved to Manchester United in a £36m deal from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco in the 2015 summer transfer window.

Manchester United have won the Europa League, the FA Cup and the League Cup at Old Trafford so far.
