Ander Herrera has taken to social media to issue a Manchester United rallying cry after their recent dip in form.

The Red Devils have endured a stuttering start to the new season under Jose Mourinho, with Manchester United only having won three of their opening six Premier League games so far.

Manchester United were knocked out of the League Cup on penalties on Tuesday night when they lost to Derby County after a 2-2 draw at Old Trafford in the third round tie.

Their stuttering form has heaped pressure on Red Devils boss Mourinho, who has been tasked with guiding his side to their first Premier League title since 2013.

And Herrera has taken to social media to insist that he and his team-mates have come out of worse situations before.

Herrera posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “We have gotten out of worse scrapes 🔴 #onlytogether.”

Manchester United will aim to get back to winning ways in the Premier League on Saturday lunchtime when they travel to West Ham United.

They already find themselves eight points off top spot at this early stage of the new campaign.

The Red Devils ended up in second place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last season under Mourinho.
