The 19-year-old full-back has been getting used to life at Old Trafford after having signed for the Red Devils from FC Porto in the summer transfer window.
Dalot, however, has not yet made a competitive appearance for the Red Devils due to injury and he has been working on his fitness levels behind the scenes at Carrington.
The defender is now working his way back towards full fitness at Old Trafford and he says that he cannot wait to make his first appearance for Manchester United this season.
Speaking in an interview with ESPN, Dalot said: “It [the injury] has not been frustrating because you have to be prepared for these things in football.
“I kept my mind always thinking just step by step. I’m one more step closer to where I want to be because I want to play.
“I’m very happy. My body is responding well. I’m happy and I’m looking forward to playing more and more.
“The team have helped me a lot during this recovery time. We are together, we are strong and I can’t wait to start.
“I was looking forward to playing in this amazing stadium and I’m looking forward to playing here again.”
Meanwhile, Manchester United will look to make it back to back wins in the Premier League for the first time this season when they take on Watford away from home after the international break.
Manchester United have found themselves under pressure in recent weeks after they slumped to back to back defeats by Tottenham and Brighton to leave them six points off the pace in the race for the title.
