Jamie Redknapp believes that Jose Mourinho will find it tricky to turn things around at Manchester United following the Red Devils’ tough start to the new season.

Manchester United are currently looking to get back to winning ways in the Premier League after having lost their last two games in the top flight to heap pressure on the Portuguese coach.

The Red Devils have lost their last two games against Brighton and Tottenham to leave them six points off the pace in the race for the Premier League title this season.

Their stuttering form has inevitably led to speculation about Jose Mourinho’s future at Old Trafford.

And former Liverpool FC and Tottenham midfielder Redknapp has admitted that the future is looking bleak for Mourinho at Old Trafford.

Speaking in an interview on talkSPORT, Redknapp said: “I just don’t see how he can turn this around.

“That’s not because I think Jose Mourinho is not a good manager, I just don’t think he’s the right manager for Manchester United.

“I don’t think his style fits, and he’s never looked happy there.”

Manchester United will look to get back to winning ways in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon when they travel to Burnley in the top flight.

They finished second and without a trophy last season under the Portuguese coach.
