Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho has found himself under pressure at Old Trafford in recent weeks after they endured something of a stuttering start to the new campaign.
Manchester United lost two of their opening three Premier League games to leave them well off the pace in the race for the title.
And they were also dumped out of the League Cup at the third round stage by Derby County last week after a surprise penalty shootout defeat by Frank Lampard’s men.
One of the few positives from the campaign so far has been Shaw’s return to form, with the left-back having clearly won over Mourinho.
The England international has been ever-present in the Manchester United side, and Shaw admits that he has been feeling back to his best for the first time in a long time.
Speaking in an interview with Manchester United’s website, Shaw said: “I feel really good.
“I feel strong, I feel fit and I feel like I am enjoying my football again, which is the most important thing for me – to be back out on the pitch and enjoying it.”
He added: “We were all really disappointed [about the draw against Wolves last weekend] and we just need to pick ourselves back up again and keep going.”
Manchester United will now switch their attentions back towards Champions League affairs and their home clash against Valencia at Old Trafford on Tuesday night.
The Red Devils have not won the Premier League title since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson in 2013.
