Paul Pogba has admitted that Manchester United were far from their best in their Premier League draw with Wolves at Old Trafford on Saturday.

The Red Devils were held to a frustrating 1-1 draw by the visitors as they dropped yet more points in the start of their Premier League season.

Manchester United have only taken 10 points from their opening six Premier League games to leave them eight points behind early leaders Liverpool FC.

The Red Devils are now already playing catch-up in the Premier League title race after having only won three of their six opening games this season in the top flight.

And Pogba has admitted that the Red Devils have plenty of work to do as they look to try and establish themselves as one of the contenders for the title this season.

Pogba is quoted as saying by Metro: “We are at home and we should play much better against Wolves.

“When we are at home we should attack, attack, attack. That’s Old Trafford. We are here to attack.

“I think teams are scared when they see Man United attacking and attacking. That was our mistake.

“Maybe the attitude should be better and we should play better because, again, we are at Old Trafford and we should just attack and press like we did against Tottenham, Liverpool, Chelsea and Arsenal last season.

“When we play like this it’s easier for us.”

Manchester United are now preparing for their League Cup clash against Derby County at Old Trafford in the third round on Tuesday night.

The Red Devils finished in second place in the Premier League table and without a trophy last season under Mourinho.

They have not won the Premier League title since their final triumph under Sir Alex Ferguson back in 2013.
