Eric Bailly is set to evaluate his future at Manchester United if the Ivory Coast international continues to be frozen out at Old Trafford, according to a report in England.

The Daily Mirror, as quoted by Metro, is reporting that the Manchester United defender is frustrated at a lack of playing time under Jose Mourinho so far this season.

The same article states that Bailly believes Mourinho has made the African star a scapegoat for their 3-2 loss to Brighton and Hove Albion last month.

According to the same story, Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur would be interested in a potential deal to sign Bailly should the Ivorian decide to quit Manchester United.

Bailly moved to Manchester United in a £30m deal from La Liga side Villarreal in the 2016 summer transfer window following Mourinho’s appointment.

The 24-year-old won the Europa League and the League Cup in his first season at Old Trafford to earn rave reviews for his performances at the back.

The African star struggled to hold down a starting spot in his second campaign as Manchester United boss Mourinho preferred Chris Smalling and Phil Jones.

Manchester United will start their Champions League campaign with a home clash against Young Boys on Wednesday night.
