The Guinea international has been settling into life at Anfield after having joined the Reds from RB Leipzig this summer following the transfer deal that was originally agreed last year.
Keita has made a strong start to his Liverpool FC career and has featured in all four of the Reds’ Premier League games so far this season to help them make a 100 per cent start to the new campaign.
The 23-year-old will be aiming to hold down a regular spot in the first team at Anfield as he bids to try and help Jurgen Klopp’s men to challenge for the Premier League title this term.
And Keita has revealed that he will try and add goals to his game, although he concedes that scoring his not his priority.
Speaking in an interview with Liverpool FC’s website, Keita said: “It’s not the most important thing for me to score goals, but if I do, that always makes me happy.
“But the key for me as a midfielder is to win the ball back and then distribute the ball to my strikers and create chances for them to score.”
Keita will be hoping to start for Liverpool FC when the Reds return to Premier League action after the international break, when they take on Tottenham Hotspur away from home.
Liverpool FC are currently leading the way at the top of the Premier League table after their solid start to the new campaign.
