The Belgian playmaker has hit the ground running this term under new manager Maurizio Sarri following his appointment as the club’s new manager back in July.
Hazard has hit five goals and made two assists in five Premier League games so far this term to help Chelsea FC make a 100 per cent start to the new season under Sarri.
The 27-year-old is aiming to continue his fine form for the Blues as they look to try and challenge for the Premier League title in Sarri’s first campaign at the club.
And Pedro has talked up Hazard’s importance to the Chelsea FC team as the Blues look to try and establish themselves as one of the main contenders for the title this term.
Speaking in an interview quoted by Metro, Pedro said: “He is a big star. It is very good for us that Eden is in good form with good confidence.
“It is a very good help for the team and when this guy plays like this he is very difficult to stop.”
“He is playing with good confidence and with very high potential to score goals, help the team – [and he is in] really good form physically.
“He is a very important player for the team.”
Chelsea FC will return to Premier League action on Sunday afternoon when they travel to the London Stadium to take on West Ham United.
The Blues finished in fifth place and won the FA Cup last season in what was Antonio Conte’s final campaign in charge of the west London side.
