The Reds head into the game looking to preserve their 100 per cent start to the new season after Jurgen Klopp’s men won all four of their opening four games in the top flight.
Liverpool FC are currently leading the way at the top of the Premier League table as they bid to try and establish themselves as one of the main contenders for the title this season.
Tottenham, meanwhile, lost their first game of the new campaign last time out when they slumped to a disappointing loss to Watford.
Liverpool FC will be hoping to claim the three points to maintain their 100 per cent start to the new campaign.
However, former Liverpool FC star Lawrenson feels that the two sides are likely to share the spoils when they meet at Wembley on Saturday lunchtime.
Writing in his column for BBC Sport, Lawrenson said: “Liverpool came unstuck against Spurs at Wembley last season but I have a feeling that both teams might cancel each other out this time.
“So I am going to go for a draw. Both teams are going well, and I think they would both be happy enough for a point.”
Liverpool FC are aiming to challenge for the Premier League title this season after the Reds finished in fourth place and without a trophy last term, despite reaching the Champions League final.
