The Wales international’s future is uncertain at the north London side given the versatile midfielder hasn’t committed to a new contract at Arsenal.
The Gunners were in negotiations with the Welshman but Arsenal have since taken a contract offer off the table following protracted talks.
Arsenal handed Mesut Ozil a contract worth a reported £350,000 a week back in February to make the former Germany international the highest paid player in their history.
Ramsey is attracting interest from a host of top clubs across Europe, which speaks for the impressive reputation that the Welsh star has built over the past decade at Arsenal.
European giants AC Milan and FC Barcelona have both been linked with a swoop to sign the Wales international next summer when Ramsey will be available on a free transfer.
However, Ramsey has reiterated that he will remain at Arsenal for the remainder of the season after admitting that he felt a new deal was agreed with the north London club.
“Will I stay for the rest of the season? Of course, yeah,” Ramsey is quoted as saying by Metro.
“I am contracted to Arsenal and I am going to do my best now this season to try and achieve something special.
“Everything has been going great with the club. We thought we were in a position where we had agreed a deal but that’s no longer the case.
“So I just have to carry on playing my football and do my best for Arsenal this season and I’ll leave the rest with the club now.
“That’s a decision that they have made and things happen in football and you just have to get on with it and carry on playing the best I can. ‘That’s all I am concentrating on, giving my best for Arsenal.”
Ramsey moved to Arsenal from Cardiff City in the 2008 summer transfer window following an impressive spell at his boyhood club.
The Wales star opted to move to Arsenal despite interest from Manchester United legend Sir Alex Ferguson.
Arsenal have won their last six games in the Premier League to hoist themselves up to fourth place in the Premier League table.
The Gunners will take on Leicester City in their next top flight fixture at the Emirates Stadium after the international break.
Arsenal are in fourth spot in the Premier League table.
