Rio Ferdinand believes Chelsea FC will always have a chance at winning trophies with Eden Hazard in the team.

The Blues made a brilliant start to the new Premier League season following five successive victories under Maurizio Sarri.

The Italian head coach dropped his first points of his Blues career in a goalless draw with West Ham at Stamford Bridge last month.

Chelsea FC hosted their title rivals Liverpool FC at Stamford Bridge on Saturday evening in a top of the table clash.

Hazard netted in successive games to break the deadlock in the first half to give Chelsea FC a slender lead in west London.

Daniel Sturridge levelled in the final three minutes at Stamford Bridge after Liverpool FC left the capital with a 1-1 draw.

Hazard has netted seven times in all competitions this season to hit the ground running under Antonio Conte’s replacement.

Former Manchester United defender Ferdinand believes Chelsea FC have the potential to win games with Hazard in their starting line up.

“When you’ve got him in your team, you’ve always got a chance of winning games and just snatching games from people,” Ferdinand told BT Sport.

Hazard has won two Premier League titles, the FA Cup, the League Cup and the Europa League since his move to Chelsea FC from Lille in the 2012 summer transfer window.
