The Red Devils will make the trip to the English capital in pursuit of successive Premier League victories for just the second time this season.
Manchester United were 3-2 winners against Newcastle United in their last top-flight fixture before the international break to ease alleviate some of the growing pressure at Old Trafford,
Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane had been linked with Jose Mourinho’s position at Old Trafford after the Red Devils failed to win four games on the bounce.
However, the 20-time English champions came from 2-0 down to rescue a 3-2 win over Newcastle ahead of their trip to Premier League title challengers Chelsea FC.
Maurizio Sarri hasn’t put a foot wrong since taking over the reins of the west London side from Antonio Conte in the summer.
Chelsea FC have won six of their opening eight games in the Premier League, only Liverpool FC and West Ham United have managed to prevent the Blues from securing maximum points.
Former Arsenal defender Keown believes Chelsea FC will extend their unbeaten run and secure their seventh Premier League win of the season against Manchester United on Saturday.
“I think Chelsea will win 2-0,” Keown told the Daily Mail. “On the evidence of this season they have been by far the better team.
“I’m fascinated to see how Jose Mourinho and Manchester United have dealt with the international break. I genuinely hope he can get the result of the season at Chelsea.
“But given what we have seen so far, I cannot see them doing so.”
Chelsea FC can take encouragement from their recent record against Manchester United.
The Blues have only lost one of their last 16 meetings against the Premier League’s most successful club.
Worryingly for Manchester United, David Moyes, Louis van Gaal and Jose Mourinho have all been unable to mastermind victories over Chelsea FC in the past five seasons.
Indeed, the trio have all tasted defeats at Stamford Bridge following five losses in six games in west London.
Chelsea FC are sitting at the top of the Premier League table and level on points with Manchester City and Liverpool FC.
