Eden Hazard fired the west London side into the lead in the first half at Stamford Bridge with a confident finish as the Belgian playmaker netted his seventh goal of the season.
However, Liverpool FC managed to earn a point when second-half substitute Daniel Sturridge game off the bench to fire home a delightful equaliser in the dying moments at Stamford Bridge.
The result left Liverpool FC in second place in the Premier League table and level on points with leaders Manchester City, while Chelsea FC are currently two points further behind in third spot.
And Klopp clearly felt that his side deserved something from the game after their draw against the Blues on Saturday evening in west London.
Speaking at his post-match news conference, Klopp said: “Of course, we deserved a point – we would have deserved to win, but it’s all good with the result.
“Both teams deserved a point, but we only had more chances. We had more chances on Wednesday.
“Chelsea are a super team and it is quite difficult to play them, but I thought we did it in a really impressive way, to be honest.”
Liverpool FC will now turn their focus back towards Champions League affairs and their tricky trip to Napoli on Wednesday night.
The Reds are aiming to be one of the main contenders for the Premier League this season after finishing fourth and without a trophy last term.
