Paul Scholes has blasted Manchester United’s attitude following a 3-1 loss at West Ham United on Saturday evening.

The Red Devils slumped to a third Premier League loss in the current campaign to heap pressure on Portuguese head coach Jose Mourinho.

Manchester United have suffered defeats at the hands of Brighton and Hove Albion as well as Tottenham Hotspur.

The 20-time English champions are in tenth place and nine points adrift of leaders Manchester City and Liverpool FC to raise serious questions.

Manchester United will have failed to win their last three games following a stalemate with Wolverhampton Wanderers before a League Cup loss to Championship side Derby County.

The Red Devils will have the opportunity to boost morale when Manchester United welcome La Liga side Valencia in the Champions League at Old Trafford on Wednesday night.

Former Manchester United midfielder Scholes believes the Red Devils have shown a poor attitude in recent weeks.

“United’s attitude [against West Ham] was never right – and it hasn’t been for a few weeks,” Scholes told BT Sport.

Manchester United won the Premier League title 13 times during the Sir Alex Ferguson era.

The Red Devils haven’t won the English top flight title since 2013 when Manchester United saw off competition from Manchester City.

Mourinho has won the Premier League crown three times during two stints at Chelsea FC.
