Website football.london is reporting that the Gunners are keeping tabs on the talented 18-year-old, who currently plays for Polish side Pogon Szczecin.
The same story says that the north London side could face competition from FC Barcelona for the young centre-half’s signature however.
According to the same report, Arsenal’s head of recruitment Sven Mislintat has identified Walukiewicz as a possible transfer target ahead of the January window – and the Gunners have had a network of scouts watching him recently.
However, the same article claims that FC Barcelona have also been keeping tabs on the defender and they have been impressed by what they have seen.
The defender has made 13 appearances in Polish league Ekstraklasa for Pogon Szczecin so far this season.
Arsenal are bound to be linked with a number of players in the coming weeks as the January transfer window gives Unai Emery the chance to bolster his options at The Emirates.
The north London side are currently in fifth place in the Premier League table and eight points off leaders Manchester City.
They will return to Premier League action after the international break when they travel to Bournemouth on 25 November.
