The 31-year-old midfielder was not called up for Spain and therefore made the most of his chance to ensure that he is as fit as possible heading into the winter months.
Fabregas has found his first team opportunities at Stamford Bridge to be somewhat restricted since Maurizio Sarri was appointed at the west London club back in July.
He missed the first few games of the season due to an injury and has so far only made three Premier League appearances – all of which have come from the bench.
Fabregas will be hoping to prove himself as worth as a regular spot in the Chelsea FC first team in the coming weeks and months, and he has clearly been working hard behind the scenes at Cobham.
During the international break last week, Fabregas posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Winter is here people ❄️☃️.”
Fabregas will be hoping to feature for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to Premier League action on Saturday afternoon with a crunch clash against Tottenham at Wembley.
