Sport Mediaset, as quoted by Football Italia, is reporting that Chelsea FC chief Marina Granovskaia has been in contact with AC Milan director Leonardo about selling Cahill, Christensen and Fabregas,
The same article states that the Italian side are desperate to add more depth to their squad following an injury crisis at the San Siro side.
According to the same story, AC Milan are particularly interested in World Cup winner Fabregas considering the 31-year-old’s experience and links to the Serie A giants in the past.
The former Arsenal captain is set to become a free agent at the end of the season, but given that his family are settled in the English capital, Fabregas could be reluctant to leave.
On the other hand, Fabregas has been out of favour under new Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri and has been unable to dislodge Jorginho, N’Golo Kante and Mateo Kovacic in midfield.
Cahill is another player who will be out of contract when the current campaign comes to its conclusion and the 33-year-old would bring a wealth of experience to Milan.
Christensen would be a more expensive acquisition given his age, but the 22-year-old could be sent out on loan after falling behind David Luiz and Gary Cahill in the pecking order.
