The Daily Telegraph is reporting that Dortmund are determined not to let the talented youngster leave in the January transfer window – but they are prepared to negotiate next summer if the price is right.
According to the same article, Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC are both keenly interested in the USA international, while Paris Saint-Germain are also believed to be long-term admirers of the 20-year-old.
However, it is also claimed that Chelsea FC would have to break their transfer record of £57m for Alvaro Morata if they are to sign Pulisic next year.
That prospect may not be particularly enticing for the west London side, given that Pulisic’s current contract at Dortmund is set to expire in the summer of 2020.
But the article also points out that Chelsea FC could end up losing Eden Hazard at the end of the season, and the arrival of Pulisic could help to soften that huge potential blow.
Pulisic has scored one goal and made two assists in eight Bundesliga appearances so far this season.
Chelsea FC and Liverpool FC are bound to be linked with a number of players in the coming weeks as the January transfer window draws nearer.
The Blues will likely be looking for reinforcements as Maurizio Sarri looks to try and cement a top-four finish for his side in his first season in charge.
Liverpool FC, meanwhile, could look to bring in some extra depth in the new year as Jurgen Klopp’s men look to sustain a genuine Premier League title challenge.
