The Belgium international was linked with a potential move to Champions League holders Real Madrid from Chelsea FC in the 2018 summer transfer window.
Real Madrid were left with a void to fill in their team after Cristiano Ronaldo moved to Serie A giants Juventus in the summer transfer window after nine seasons at The Bernabeu.
However, Hazard remained at the Stamford Bridge outfit despite the interest from Real Madrid, and the Belgian forward has been in electrifying form in the current campaign.
New Chelsea FC manager Maurizio Sarri has rekindled Hazard’s top form in the opening three months of the season following a return of seven goals and four assists in 10 league appearances before Sunday’s clash against Everton.
The former Lille playmaker came off the bench to make an assist for Alvaro Morata in Chelsea FC’s 3-1 win over Crystal Palace at Stamford Bridge in the Premier League earlier this month.
Hazard has little over 18 months left to run on his current deal, which leaves the Blues forward and his employers in a unique position amid persistent speculation about a move to Real Madrid.
His brother Thorgan, who left Chelsea FC for Borussia Monchengladbach in 2015, believes the Blues number 10 isn’t contemplating a potential exit at Stamford Bridge.
“Eden made the right decision to stay at Chelsea,” Thorgan told Belgian newspaper HLN, as quoted by Daily Express.
“Chelsea weren’t keen on selling him and he had a strong start of the season.
“Real Madrid are in a complex period.
“They sacked their manager, key players left. They have to rebuild.
“I think Eden will see what happens at the end of the season. I know him. He’s not thinking about a move right now.
“He will give everything for Chelsea. He doesn’t want a clash with his club either.
“If he ever leaves, he will play it correctly.”
Thorgan, 25, secured a £5.9m deal to Borussia Monchengladbach from Chelsea FC in the 2015 summer transfer window.
The Belgian talent has scored 43 goals and has made 37 assists in 159 appearances in his last five seasons since his move to the Bundesliga.
His older brother moved to Chelsea FC from Lille in the 2012 summer transfer window, and the 27-year-old has remained loyal to the west London outfit.
