The 27-year-old had missed Chelsea FC’s recent games due to a back problem but he returned to the matchday squad as the Blues ran out 3-1 winners over Crystal Palace in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Hazard was brought on in the second half and featured for 26 minutes as he notched up an assist to help the west London side maintain their impressive start to the season in the Premier League.
The Belgian playmaker is widely regarded as one of European football’s top attacking talents and Chelsea FC fans will be delighted to see the attacker back in action once again.
And after helping the Blues claim the three points on Sunday afternoon at Stamford Bridge, Hazard took to social media to reflect on the result and his comeback from injury.
Hazard posted the picture above on his personal Instagram account and wrote the caption: “Been a tough week training, great to be back today [Sunday]! Well played lads! ⚽ 💪 #cfc.”
The Belgian has been in fine form so far this season, scoring eight goals and making four assists in all competitions so far under new boss Maurizio Sarri.
Hazard could be involved when Chelsea FC, who are second in the Premier League, return to Europa League action on Thursday night with a trip to BATE Borisov.
The Blues will then switch their attentions back towards Premier League action and their home clash with Everton this weekend, before the final international break of 2018.
