Liverpool FC train at Melwood under the floodlights ahead of their trip to Arsenal in the Premier League on Saturday

Fabinho and Mohamed Salah both looked to be in good spirits as Liverpool FC trained at Melwood on Wednesday night ahead of their crunch clash against Arsenal this weekend.

Jurgen Klopp’s side are preparing to make the trip to The Emirates on Saturday evening as they look to try and continue their fine start to the Premier League season.

The Merseysiders are currently second in the Premier League table and level on points with leaders Manchester City after 10 games of the new campaign.

Liverpool FC are four points ahead of Saturday’s opponents Arsenal, who currently occupy the fourth Champions League qualification spot.

Summer signing Fabinho has been slowly making his mark in the Liverpool FC team in recent days after having been made to wait for regular first-team action by Klopp.

Indeed, Fabinho’s first start in the Premier League came during the 4-1 win over Cardiff City last weekend and he has only racked up 111 minutes of top-flight football so far.

Nevertheless, the Brazilian, who signed from Monaco in the summer, will be hoping to play a part when the Reds take on Unai Emery’s Gunners this weekend.

Salah, meanwhile, seems to have found form in recent weeks and he has scored four goals and made two assists in his last three games for the Reds. He has netted seven goals and made three assists in all competitions so far this term.

Arsenal will be hoping to bounce back from the disappointment of dropping points during last weekend’s 2-2 draw with Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Here are some of the best photos from Liverpool FC’s training session under the floodlights at Melwood on Wednesday night.
