The England midfielder has found his first team opportunities to be severely restricted this season due to injury problems, and he has only managed to notch up three Premier League appearances so far.
Lallana has struggled with a groin problem in recent months and he suffered a fresh setback which caused him to be ruled out of the games against Watford and Paris Saint-Germain.
However, Liverpool FC manager Klopp has now confirmed that Lallana’s latest injury setback is not too serious and he should be back in training at Melwood this week.
Speaking at his news conference before the showdown with Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League, Klopp said: “Adam Lallana is back in training on Thursday.
“The issue is nothing anymore because he is on the way back – it was a minor muscle thing and nothing serious.”
Lallana has only made five appearances in all competitions for Liverpool FC so far this season due to fitness issues.
Liverpool FC will now turn their attentions towards preparing for their Premier League clash against Everton at Anfield on Sunday afternoon.
The Reds are currently Manchester City’s closest challengers in the Premier League table, with Klopp’s men just two points behind the defending champions after 13 games.
