The Egypt international was one of Europe’s top attacking players last season as he helped to fire Liverpool FC to the Champions League final and seal a top-four finish in the Premier League.
Salah made something of a slow start to the current campaign by his own high standards, but he has been in top form in recent weeks.
Indeed, the 26-year-old has scored seven goals and made three assists in 13 Premier League games so far, including one in the 3-0 win over Watford at the weekend.
Klopp feels that Salah was struggling with physical problems at the start of the campaign but he is now thrilled to see the Egypt international back in fine form.
Speaking at his pre-match news conference before the Champions League clash with PSG on Wednesday night, Klopp said: “He always tried everything. The only thing was his body needed time to adapt.
“Still a world-class player, still a threat in a game, but in the scoring situations not the same calmness or the same coolness.
“But since before the last international break it was completely obvious in each training session it had clicked again. He’s there.
“People need time but you, we, don’t give them time because we don’t have time. If you are in doubt easily then it could affect you but not for one second was he in doubt and I was not in doubt.
“Even Mo Salah is a human being and he needed time.”
Salah will be hoping to feature for Liverpool FC when the Reds return to Premier League action on Sunday with a crunch clash against Everton in the Merseyside derby.
The Reds are currently second and just two points behind leaders Manchester City in the Premier League table.
