The Merseyside outfit welcomed Sessegnon and his Fulham team-mates to Anfield in the Premier League on Sunday afternoon.
Liverpool FC eased to a 2-0 victory over the Cottagers thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Xherdan Shaqiri either side of half-time.
Sessegnon, though, had a great chance to break the deadlock in the first half when the 18-year-old was sent clear by Aleksandar Mitrovic.
However, the Fulham starlet dragged his finish wide with just Liverpool FC goalkeeper Alisson Becker to beat.
Sessegnon has scored one goal and has made one assist in 12 games in the Premier League since Fulham’s promotion to the top flight.
The teenager’s only Premier League goal came in a 4-2 loss to relegation rivals Cardiff City in Wales last month.
Liverpool FC have been linked with a potential swoop to sign the England Under-21 international in the past following his impressive performances in the Championship.
Andy Robertson has established himself as one of Liverpool FC’s most consistent players at left-back since his move from Hull City in 2017.
Indeed, the Scotland international has continued to excel in the full-back role and Sessegnon’s arrival could only serve to disrupt Robertson’s confidence and momentum.
Former Liverpool FC striker Aldridge has urged Klopp to consider a fresh approach to sign the Fulham starlet.
“Andy Robertson has been an absolute revelation since he came to Anfield and solved the long-standing left-back issue but I’d still like Liverpool to reignite their interest in Ryan Sessegnon who can play in that position but was being deployed further up the left flank against the Reds,” Aldridge told the Liverpool Echo.
“He’s still only 18 but has almost played 100 senior games already. I know a lot of clubs are interested in him but he can play at either full-back or in midfield and you can see he’ll go far that lad.”
Sessegnon has scored 24 times in 92 games in all competitions over the past three seasons in the Fulham first-team.
The English teenager made his first-team debut in an EFL Cup match against Leyton Orient aged 16 years and 81 days on 9 August 2016.
Five days later, Sessegnon started his first Championship game in a 1-1 draw with Leeds United.
Fulham are sitting in 20th place in the Premier League table and have collected five points from their opening 12 fixtures.
