The Daily Star, as quoted by the Daily Mirror, is reporting that the England international is set to be rewarded with a new lucrative deal at the Old Trafford side to warn off potential suitors.
The same article states that La Liga giants Real Madrid have been linked with a potential swoop to sign the England international in the 2019 summer transfer window.
According to the same story, Manchester United chief Ed Woodward is eager to resolve Rashford’s future amid ongoing transfer speculation surrounding the home grown talent.
The Daily Star adds that Woodward is prepared to offer Rashford a huge contract worth in the region of £150,000 a week to secure the England star’s future.
Rashford, the report goes to say, could use Manchester United’s eagerness to tie him down to a new long-term deal to his advantage in upcoming negotiations.
The 21-year-old has seen his development stunted under Jose Mourinho after the Portuguese head coach took over the reins from Louis van Gaal in May 2016.
Rashford scored eight goals in 18 games when he burst onto the scene under the Dutchman, but the England star found the net with 24 goals in 105 games in the last two seasons.
