The Daily Mirror is reporting that the Chile international is focused on leaving the Old Trafford club less than a year after arriving from Arsenal.
The same story claims that the fact that Sanchez did not even make the substitutes’ bench for Tuesday night’s Champions League win over Young Boys at Old Trafford has only strengthened Sanchez’s desire to quit the club.
Sanchez has struggled to hold down a starting spot at Old Trafford this season despite being made the club’s highest-paid player following his arrival in January.
According to the same story, Sanchez earns more than £500,000 a week at Old Trafford but he has apparently told friends that he wants to leave the club – and a move to Paris Saint-Germain would be his preferred option.
The 29-year-old has struggled badly in a Manchester United shirt. He has scored one goal and made two assists in 10 Premier League games this season, but he has only started five times in the top flight so far.
He will be hoping to be involved when Manchester United travel to Southampton in the Premier League on Saturday evening.
