Victor Lindelof is the only Manchester United defender to emerge with any real credit, while Eric Bailly has continued his alarming dip in form.
Manchester United are in eighth place in the Premier League and 12 points behind current leaders Manchester City.
The Red Devils broke up for the international break on a sour note despite a return of 10 points from five games after Manchester United lost 3-1 to Manchester City in the derby last weekend.
