The Brazil international moved to Liverpool FC in a £67m deal from Serie A giants AS Roma in the 2018 summer transfer window.
The world’s second-most expensive goalkeeper has made a promising start to his Anfield career after conceding just five times in 13 games in the Premier League.
Liverpool FC are in second place in the Premier League table and two points behind current leaders Manchester City.
However, Jurgen Klopp’s side haven’t been as efficient in the Champions League following losses on the road to Napoli and Red Star Belgrade.
The Merseyside outfit are in second place in their group but level on points with leaders Napoli, while PSG are a point behind the top two.
Liverpool FC will be facing a PSG side that have won their opening 14 Ligue 1 games, with Alisson’s compatriot Neymar netting 10 times in 11 top-flight games.
Alisson believes the Reds can produce a positive performance at Parc des Princes despite their poor record on the road in the Champions League this term.
“It will be a really good match,” Alisson told Standard Sport.
“They have Neymar against our defenders but we have also a great defence so it’ll be a great match for everybody to see – and I’m expecting to have a great match in this game too.”
Alisson reached the Champions League semi-finals last season before AS Roma lost to Liverpool FC 6-5 on aggregate.
Liverpool FC went on to lose 3-1 to Real Madrid in the final in Kiev.
