Arsenal have made an £8million bid to try and sign Ajax and Argentina left-back Nicolas Tagliafico, 26, who has also attracted interest from Newcastle United.

Denmark playmaker Christian Eriksen, 26, is getting closer to signing a contract extension at Tottenham Hotspur. His current deal expires in 2020 and he has been linked with FC Barcelona and Real Madrid.
