The Spain international started in a wing-back role for the visit of Spurs as Unai Emery opted to go with an attacking 3-4-3 formation.
Arsenal were rewarded for a brisk start to the derby clash when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scored from the penalty spot after Jan Vertonghen’s foul on Shkodran Mustafi.
However, the derby was turned on its head when Eric Dier flashed a header past Bernd Leno at the near post before Harry Kane gave the visitors a narrow lead from the penalty spot.
Bellerin survived Unai Emery’s decisive tactical substitution at half-time after the Spanish head coach brought on Aaron Ramsey and Alexandre Lacazette.
The Wales international teed up Aubameyang to level the derby clash before Ramsey provided the assist for Lacazette’s 74th-minute finish.
Uruguay international Lucas Torreira secured three points with a low finish past Hugo Lloris before Vertonghen was sent off.
The Arsenal full-back took to Instagram to revel in their 4-2 derby win within 10 minutes of the final whistle.
Bellerin wrote: “Me right now. #COYG”
Bellerin completed 89 per cent of his attempted passes during the derby clash following an astute performance down the right wing.
The Spain international won one tackle during the 4-2 win but was dispossessed more than any other Arsenal player during the six-goal thriller.
