Juventus are working on a deal to sign Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer from Arsenal next summer, say reports
Juventus are working on a deal to sign Aaron Ramsey on a free transfer from Arsenal next summer, according to reports in Italy.
Sky Italia, as quoted by Sky Sports, is reporting that the Serie A giants are keen on a move to bring the midfielder to Turin at the end of the season.
Ramsey’s current contract at Arsenal is due to expire in the summer and the Gunners do not appear to be prepared to offer him a new deal.
The same story confirms that Ramsey is free to negotiate with foreign clubs from 1 January as the speculation about his future continues.
Ramsey, who has made 350 appearances and scored 59 goals since joining Arsenal in 2008, now looks set to depart The Emirates at the end of the season and it appears that Juventus could be his destination.
The same story, though, also claims that Juve’s Italian rivals Inter Milan are interested in signing the 27-year-old next year.
Meanwhile, Arsenal are currently preparing for their trip to Brighton and Hove Albion on Boxing Day.
The Gunners are currently fifth in the Premier League table as they look to break back into the top four and secure Champions League qualification before the season is out.
