The France international has endured a difficult 18 months at the La Liga champions since his move to the Spanish side from Borussia Dortmund in 2017.
FC Barcelona coughed up a transfer fee in the region of £120m for the 21-year-old after Dembele impressed during his spell at the German club.
Dembele, though, has struggled with disciplinary issues since his move to FC Barcelona and the Catalan side are thought to be running out of patience with the French forward.
Arsenal have been linked with a potential swoop to sign the FC Barcelona striker, while Liverpool FC are also thought to be keeping tabs on the attacker.
Former Arsenal defender Lauren urged the Gunners to launch an audacious offer to sign the FC Barcelona striker, adding that Dembele could realise his talent at The Emirates.
“I think Arsenal should do everything they can to sign Dembele. Everything about his style of play matches what Arsenal are looking for,” Lauren told SportingBet.
“He isn’t getting the playing time at Barcelona, or playing in his strongest position, but Arsenal’s high intensity will allow him to reach his potential.
“Dembele can play on either side of the pitch, which is a bonus and he’s showed that he can do it against the big teams, coming off the bench to rescue points for Barcelona. I would love to see him at Arsenal.”
Arsenal already have a wealth of attacking firepower in their team given that the likes of Alexandre Lacazette and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are competing for a starting spot in the Gunners team.
Unai Emery took over the reins from Arsene Wenger in the summer and the Spanish head coach has already managed to stamp his authority on the north London side.
