The Merseyside outfit will make the trip to Burnley fresh from a thrilling derby victory over Everton at the weekend.
Liverpool FC secured a last-gasp 1-0 win against Everton thanks to Divock Origi’s 96th-minute goal at Anfield.
The substitute’s winner helped the Reds to keep to within two points of Manchester City at the top of the Premier League table.
The 18-time English champions are within striking distance of the defending champions and Jurgen Klopp’s side look to be the only challengers this term.
The Reds have won 11 of their 14 games in the Premier League this season, while Liverpool FC have dropped points in stalemates with Arsenal, Chelsea FC and Manchester City.
Former Liverpool FC striker Owen believes Jurgen Klopp’s side will beat Burnley at Turf Moor in mid-week.
“Liverpool have conceded just five times in their 14 Premier League games so far this term and their dramatic late winner in the Merseyside derby on Sunday kept them within hailing distance of City at the top of the table,” Owen told BetVictor.
“Burnley have conceded 12 times in their six league games at Turf Moor so far this term and I would be surprised if they got anything from the visit of Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool.”
Klopp suffered a defeat on his first trip to Burnley in August 2016 after Sean Dyche’s side were 2-0 winners against Liverpool FC.
Ragnar Klavan scored a stoppage-time winner in a 2-1 victory over Burnley at Turf Moor in January 2018 after Sadio Mane had given the away side a lead.
Liverpool FC were held to a 1-1 draw with Burnley at Anfield last term after Mohamed Salah cancelled out Scott Arfield’s goal.
