The Daily Mail is reporting that the Blues have joined the likes of Manchester United in keeping tabs on the 20-year-old defender ahead of the January transfer window.
The same story says that Manchester United, Everton and Juventus have all been keeping a close eye on the Brazilian defender this season, with Chelsea FC having now also expressed an interest.
The story claims that Militao is thought to have the same agents as David Luiz and Willian, which presumably could make a switch to Chelsea FC a little bit easier.
However, the same article claims that FC Porto would be looking to make a “substantial” profit on the £7.2m they paid to sign Militao from Sao Paolo.
Militao has made 12 appearances in all competitions for FC Porto so far this season, scoring one goal in the Champions League.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC are bound to be linked with a number of players in the January transfer window as Maurizio Sarri gets the chance to potentially bolster his squad for the second time since taking charge in July.
The Blues will take on Wolves away from home in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
