ESPN is reporting that the west London club are keen on a move to bring the talented 20-year-old to Stamford Bridge as they look to try and bolster their attacking options next year.
However, the same story says that the German club have ruled out the possibility of letting Pulisic leave Dortmund in the January transfer window, with a summer move looking more likely.
The report also claims that Chelsea FC are in “pole position” to sign Pulisic in the summer, with the likes of Manchester United, Arsenal or Liverpool FC yet to make any formal offers.
According to the article, Dortmund are aware that Pulisic – who is under contract until 2020 – has his “heart set” on leaving the German club at some point in the future.
Bayern Munich have also not ruled out the possibility of making a move to sign Pulisic, according to the same story.
Liverpool FC, meanwhile, are no longer in the running to bring Pulisic to Anfield, despite having been linked with him in the past, according to the report.
Pulisic has scored one goal and made two assists in 11 Bundesliga games for Dortmund so far this season.
