Website Goal is reporting that the 20-year-old remains as one of Chelsea FC’s “top targets” heading into the January transfer window.
However, the same report says that the Blues do not want to pay the £70m currently being demanded by the German club.
The same story says that Chelsea FC are expecting competition to sign Pulisic from the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, but Liverpool FC have backed out of the race for his signature despite having been linked with the USA international in the past.
The article says that Chelsea FC are keen to bolster their options in the wide positions and they are also aware that Eden Hazard’s long-term future at the club is in doubt.
Hazard’s current contract at Chelsea FC is due to expire at the end of next season and he is yet to commit to a new deal at Stamford Bridge.
Pulisic has scored one goal and made one assist in four Bundesliga appearances for Dortmund so far this season.
Meanwhile, Chelsea FC will travel to Wolves in the Premier League on Wednesday night.
