The 27-year-old playmaker has been in fine form for Maurizio Sarri’s side so far this season, with the Belgian having netted his 100th and 101st goals for Chelsea FC in the 2-1 win at Watford on Boxing Day.
Hazard has scored 10 goals and made nine assists in 18 Premier League games so far this term to help Sarri’s men challenge for a top-four finish in the top flight.
However, the Belgium international’s situation at the west London club continues to be a source of speculation, with the midfielder’s current contract at the club due to expire in the summer of 2020.
Asked if his recent comments about wanting to be a Chelsea FC legend mean that he will extend his stay, Hazard is quoted as saying by The Sun: “I am just focused on the pitch, I will see at the end of the season.”
Hazard will be expecting to start for Chelsea FC when the Blues return to Premier League action on Sunday with a trip to Crystal Palace.
The Blues currently find themselves in fourth place in the Premier League table and 11 points behind leaders Liverpool FC.
