Linda Pizzuti Henry, the wife of Liverpool FC owner John W Henry, took to Twitter to celebrate Liverpool FC’s 4-0 win over Newcastle United at Anfield on Boxing Day.

The Merseyside outfit were looking to further cement their lead at the top of the Premier League table following a four-game winning run.

Liverpool FC had beaten Everton, Burnley, Manchester United and Wolves to build a four-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the table.

The Reds broke the deadlock in the first half thanks to Dejan Lovren’s clinical finish from a corner to give Liverpool FC a half-time lead.

The home side doubled their advantage in the second half thanks to Mohamed Salah’s penalty to take his tally to 13 league goals this term.

The Merseyside outfit eased to a resounding victory courtesy of goals from Xherdan Shaqiri and Fabinho to seal their 16th win of the league season.

Liverpool FC ended Boxing Day in first place and six points ahead of second-placed Tottenham Hotspur, while defending champions Manchester City are a further point adrift.

The wife of the Liverpool FC owner took to social media to celebrate another impressive win for the Merseyside outfit in the Premier League.

She wrote on Twitter: “Another 3 points today, keeping Liverpool at the top of the table and unbeaten after 19 matches. Fantastic 6 point lead half way through the season #ynwa”

Liverpool FC’s second-choice goalkeeper Mignolet was particularly pleased to see Lovren get on the score sheet.

Mignolet posted on Twitter: “♪ Ba da ba ba bah, I’m Lovren it ♪”

The Reds haven’t won the Premier League title but have finished in second place in 2002, 2009 and 2014.
