The Red Devils came from behind twice to secure a 2-2 draw with top-four rivals Arsenal at Old Trafford on Wednesday night after goals from Anthony Martial and Jesse Lingard.
Manchester United are in eighth place in the Premier League table and eight points adrift of Chelsea FC, who occupy the final Champions League qualifying spot.
The 20-time English champions will welcome Fulham to Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon in pursuit of their first Premier League victory since a 2-1 win against Bournemouth on 3 November.
The Red Devils have only collected 23 points in their opening 15 games in the Premier League to highlight their inconsistent form in Jose Mourinho’s third season in charge.
Fulham were held to a 1-1 draw with Leicester City at Craven Cottage in mid-week, after Claudio Ranieri won his first game in charge of the Cottagers following a 3-2 win against Southampton at the end of November.
Former Manchester United striker Owen is backing the Red Devils to ease to a win over Fulham on Saturday afternoon, despite the ex-England man tipping the Cottagers to find the net at Old Trafford.
“United continue to show their character and fight having picked up a point from behind at both Southampton and at home to Arsenal in the last week,” Owen told BetVictor.
“No side has made as many changes as United so far this season which suggests the club have had their fair share of injuries, but also that Jose Mourinho does not know his best starting XI.
“Fulham have lost their last six Premier League away games and I can’t see them getting anything at Old Trafford although the Cottagers have improved under Claudio Ranieri and the hosts will not have things all their own way.”
Ranieri was sacked as Chelsea FC boss in 2004 and replaced by Mourinho to add an extra bit of spice to this fixture.
