Pogba seems to have been given a new lease of life at Old Trafford since Jose Mourinho’s sacking, and the midfielder scored twice and was named man of the match in the Boxing Day victory in the Premier League.
Solskjaer has been brought in as Manchester United interim boss until the end of the season as he looks to try and steer the Red Devils back into the top four.
It has been a solid start for the new boss, with Manchester United having claimed convincing victories over both Cardiff City and Huddersfield in his first two games.
Pogba was named as the man of the match as he produced a fine display in front of Manchester United’s home fans on Boxing Day.
And Solskjaer was clearly delighted by the way Pogba performed on Boxing Day – and says that there is much more to come from the midfielder.
Speaking at his post-match news conference on Wednesday afternoon, Solskjaer said: “It was great to see him [Pogba] score two goals and he has created the goals last week at Cardiff, and now he scores them himself, so he will be even better for getting two lots of 90 minutes now and he will be fitter and fitter and improving with the team.
“We looked tired towards the end and now it is important over the next two or three days that we recover and get ready for Bournemouth.”
Manchester United are now preparing for their home clash against Bournemouth on Sunday in the Premier League in what is their final game of 2018.
