The Man United star dedicates a message on social media to Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly after Sunday's 4-1 win
Paul Pogba took to social media to dedicate a message to reported Manchester United transfer target Kalidou Koulibaly after Sunday’s 4-1 win against Bournemouth.
The Senegal international has been regularly linked with a move to Manchester United over the past few months and the speculation has persisted despite Jose Mourinho’s departure.
However, Koulibaly has been in the media following racial abuse of the Napoli defender during a 1-0 loss to Inter Milan at San Siro earlier in December.
Pogba wore a wristband in a show of support for the Napoli defender during Sunday’s 4-1 win over Bournemouth.
The 25-year-old got on the score sheet twice and made an assist in an impressive performance from the World Cup winner.
And Pogba dedicated a message to Koulibaly on Instagram after Manchester United’s 4-1 win against Bournemouth on Sunday.
Pogba posted the above video on his social media page and wrote:
“Well done guys beautiful way to finish the year + honour handband for @kkoulibaly26 👊🏾 2019 say NO to racism. @manchesterunited #mufc #heretocreate #equalgame #pogmojinewyear”
The Red Devils are in sixth spot in the Premier League table and eight points adrift of Chelsea FC.
Solskjaer took over the reins at Manchester United earlier this month after Jose Mourinho was sacked.
Pogba has scored four goals and has made three assists in his last three Premier League games.
