The 22-year-old Denmark international has fallen out of favour under Maurizio Sarri this season despite previously being considered a key player last term.
Christensen was a first-team regular under Antonio Conte after the Danish star managed to usurp David Luiz in the Chelsea FC team.
However, Sarri has preferred Luiz as Antonio Rudiger’s centre-half partner to raise questions about Christensen’s future.
Chelsea FC are on course to finish in the Premier League’s top four after a strong start to the season under Sarri.
It appears unlikely that the Italian coach will have a change of heart about Christensen.
Sky Sports News reporter Sheth has ruled out Christensen leaving the west London side in the January transfer window.
“Andreas Chrisensen was a regular under Antonio Conte,” Sheth told Sky Sports News’ Transfer Talk podcast.
“Conte froze out David Luiz and brought Christensen in. Now it has flipped. David Luiz is flavour of the month and Christensen isn’t getting a game.
“He’s made it clear he isn’t happy but he doesn’t expect Chelsea to sell him this month.”
Christensen has only started one game in the Premier League this season, although the Danish defender has made eight appearances in the Europa League and the League Cup in the current campaign.
The Denmark defender was a key member of Conte’s squad last season and featured in 40 games in all competitions in the 2017-18 to establish himself as one of the Premier League’s most promising defenders.
Chelsea FC booked their place in the Europa League knockout stage thanks in part to Christensen’s performances.
