The Lilywhites are currently in third place in the Premier League table and have won their last four games on the bounce in the top flight.
Tottenham are six points behind leaders Liverpool FC after their thumping victory over Everton at the weekend as the north London side look to try and establish themselves as one of the challengers for the title this season.
They will welcome Bournemouth to Wembley on Wednesday as they aim to make it five wins on the spin in the top flight and keep up their recent good form.
And former Liverpool FC striker Owen feels that the Lilywhites are well placed to claim all three points when they take on Bournemouth on Boxing Day.
Writing in his column for BetVictor, Owen said: “Bournemouth have never beaten Spurs in the league and I don’t expect them to buck that trend at Wembley despite the Cherries picking up three points against Brighton on Saturday.
“The north London outfit were excellent at the Emirates when reaching the League Cup semi-finals last week and I feel they will keep the points in the capital.”
Tottenham are still aiming to win their first major trophy under Mauricio Pochettino despite the Lilywhites’ fine form of late.
