Reported Arsenal target makes January transfer decision – report
Arsenal won't be signing James Rodriguez this month as the Colombia wants to remain at Bayern, according to a report

James Rodriguez has opted to remain at Bayern Munich beyond the January transfer window despite being linked with a move to Arsenal or Napoli, according to a report.
ESPN is reporting that the Colombia international has made the decision to remain at the Allianz Arena despite a lack of first-team football under Bayern manager Niko Kovac.
The same article states that the Bayern midfielder’s representatives have indicated that the 2014 World Cup star will not leave the Bundesliga champions in the current transfer window.
According to the same story, Rodriguez could see out his full loan term at the Bundesliga champions and remain in Bavaria for the 2019-20 campaign.
Reports in the British media last week suggested that Unai Emery could launch a bid to sign the Colombian playmaker as a replacement for Mesut Ozil.
The German star has fallen out of favour under Arsene Wenger’s replacement and his future at the north London side appears far from certain.
Arsenal haven’t made any signings in the January transfer window so far, and speculation in the British media suggests that the Gunners will only complete loan deals in the current window.
The north London side were 2-0 winners against Chelsea FC in the Premier League on Saturday evening to move to within three points of fourth-placed Chelsea FC.
