Unai Emery will get his first taste of FA Cup football when the Gunners take on the League One side with a place in the fourth round up for grabs.
Arsenal appointed Emery as their new manager in the summer after the north London outfit parted company with Arsene Wenger.
Wenger won the FA Cup on seven occasions, which is more than any other manager, having beaten Hull City, Aston Villa and Chelsea FC in their last three finals.
His successor Emery led Arsenal to the League Cup semi-finals this term before a 2-0 loss to north London rivals Tottenham Hotspur ended their participation in the competition.
Blackpool won the FA Cup in 1953 with England star Stanley Matthews in their ranks to fire the Tangerines to a 4-3 victory over Bolton Wanderers in a memorable final at Wembley.
However, Blackpool are currently languishing in mid-table in League One to highlight the gap between the two FA Cup winners.
Former Liverpool FC and Manchester United striker Owen is backing Arsenal to ease to a comfortable victory over Blackpool at Bloomfield Road on Saturday afternoon.
“Arsenal are unbeaten in their last nine games against Blackpool and they knocked the Tangerines out of the League Cup at the Emirates earlier in the season,” Owen told BetVictor.
“The Premier League side won’t have things their own way at Bloomfield Road, but Arsenal have played well on the road so far this season, other than their recent Anfield nightmare, and no shock for me on the Lancashire coast.”
